Noura Dosoky, Ph.D

Research Scientist

Dr. Noura Dosoky is a member of the APRC executive board. Her focus is on natural product drug discovery (medicinal chemistry). She holds a BS with honors in Biological Sciences (Botany) and MS in Phytochemistry, both from Suez Canal University. In 2015, she was awarded a Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology Science and Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Pharmacology, School of Medicine-Vanderbilt University from 2016 until she joined APRC in 2018. Dr. Dosoky published over 50 research articles in peer reviewed journals on composition and bioactivity of essential oils from wild plants, drug discovery from non-volatile plant components, drug discovery using nanotechnology, and lipid analysis using LCMS. She is currently working on the isolation and identification of bioactive compounds from natural sources.
